Retail Outlet Counter Mats
Retail counter mats have a variety of uses, promoting cameras, film
processing, glasses, hunting equipment, fishing lures and may promote
brand awareness or be used primarily for instructional use. Many
are placed in upscale retail location on glass top display cases
and are usually produced from premium materials to reflect a quality
look for the product they are promoting.

• Foam Backed Counter Mats
Foam backed counter mats give a cushion effect for any product placed
on them. They are widely accepted by retailers and are usually made
with a high gloss surface.
Face Materials
• Scratch resistant vinyl
It won’t show scuffing or light scratches. This counter mat
will maintain its original appearance longer than other materials.
The scratch resistant vinyl is printed wrong reading, totally protecting
the image.
• Clear soft vinyl (polish/matte flexible vinyl)
Protects the printing better than the white soft vinyl as it is
printed wrong reading. Can be printed with either the gloss or matte
surface up. Good quality – low cost.
• Press polish rigid vinyl
Has great initial high gloss appearance, but shows scuffing and
scratches easily.
Backing Material
• Charcoal foam back
This is the “standard” for foam backed counter mats, giving
a
soft cushion for any product that sits on the mat.
• Closed cell foam back
This is a premium foam back, available in either white or black
• Non skid vinyl backing
Works well on the counter top and doesn’t scoot around on the
counter like a foam backed mat will. |
